What do you make?
The House of Findings is an online boutique and traveling pop-up shop specializing in a mix of women’s vintage clothing and accessories, emerging designers and artists, global finds including artisan and tribal goods, contemporary, recycled and up-cycled designs, and similarly sourced home furnishings. We like to call it a “Collection of Collections” because that’s exactly how we break it down for you.
How did you get your start?
I opened my first store on Espanola Way, South Beach, FL in January 1989. Before moving to South Beach in the fall of 1988, I worked as a buyer in New York city’s garment district for ten years.
How long have you been in business?
Established 1989 – 26 years – Wow!
Who is your product perfect for?
Our clients are college students, young professionals, and ageless divas with a passion for vintage and an eye for fashion.
What is the story behind your business name?
“Findings” are special items we FIND and bring to our clients from our extensive travels in the USA and abroad.
What inspires you?
History, Music and Art!
Are you working on anything new for the SoWa Winter Market?
We will be featuring our Vintage Lingerie Collection as a preview to our fashion show at the Liberty Hotel, as part of their Thursday night Fashionably Late series. Our show is on Feb 13th. We’ll also be presenting our fabulous 80s Dress Collection and our Cozy Sweater Collection.
